Simple question about side mirrors
I have a (65 vette convertible) side mirror on both the driver and passenger side. Is that correct? I have see in most pictures that there is only a single side mirror on the drivers side.
Thx

No Corvette was ever built with a passenger side mirror prior to 1977, when the painted sport mirrors became an option. They became standard in 1980. The passengers side mirror was a "dealer installed" GM option for the 68-76 Corvette. Many people have installed mirrors on the right side of 63-67 (and 53-62's) by using a second drivers side mirror, but I don't believe GM ever sold one for use on the passenger side mirror

I have put one on my 67 because of Lic restriction stating that any vehicle I drive must have pass outside mirror (weak left eye) so being the rebel that I am, I complied! Honestly I love the balance it gives the look of the car and figure I shouldnt give "the man" any additional reasons to hassle me!!
