61' based Trailer
OK, Boys and Girls: I have a complete rear half of a 61' from about a foot in front of the door jambs rearward. All the body panels( deck lid; trunk etc.) plus all bumpers, trim pieces and whatnot( even the gas door). I am having a "party" trailer made to pull behind my 61' (maybe show up at Cruise-In with a trunk full of Makers Mark and make the Texas Boys jealous!). The concept will include a cooler sunk into the floor area where the gas tank would go; open the glove compartment door and an umbrella holder will extend downward there (so the beer doesn't get too warm while you are holding it). A gas grill unfolding from the trunk for your grilling pleasure etc. I need help with some ideas for designing a front cover for the area originally just behind the seats keeping the deck lid and glove compartment door functional. Something fiberglassed in that's nice and attractive. Some kind of seating installed in the seat area. I'm keeping the body basically stock in case I ever get rear-ended and need it for repairs. Any ideas or drawings? Free beer when its finished! Thanks. Bert. (The suspension is already designed using original-style wheels and wheel covers).

I was just thinking it would be nice to have the back half of a 61/62 to make a trailer out of.
I didn't get as creative about the party cooler and such.
Sounds like a neat project.
