I just put a set of 15x6 Torq Thrust D's on my '65 coupe and they fit fine with 215/70 BFG T/A tires.
The 7" versions may be a little tight with stock fender lips and alignment. Perhaps someone who has done this will chime in. I do know that tire clearance can be an issue with wider rims. But there shouldn't be any caliper interference with the newer TTD's.

I have 15x7 Torq Thrust Ds on my 67 coupe. Tires are 225-60-15 BF Goodrich G-Force radials. Still has original fender lips, stock alignment and ride height. No rubbing issues while parking or going over speed bumps. Car is driven everyday and sometimes on a race track with elevation changes. Would be a little nervous with a 300 lb. passenger driving hard on an auto-cross though.
