Three things:
Get the guy a Miata
Revoke his MAN CARD
Schedule sex change....he must be a girl inside.

Getting kind of nasty. To each his own!

Some guys may want to appease the spouse or friend who might otherwise not want to go for a ride.

yeah my wife made me put them on my old convertibles or else she wouldn't ride with me... so it's kinda like, maybe YOU can suck it up but the ladies don't always like their hair blowing everywhere.

Default C 1 Corvette Wind Deflectors

Hi everyone, I would like to add to this discussion that we (husband/myself) have a very early 1962 corvette that has the exact same wind deflectors. The car has been in the family for 55 years, now here is the interesting part of the story. We actually have a receipt from a Chevrolet dealership in Maryland where they were installed in 1968. We are getting ready to sell the car and wanted to make sure this was not an item that someone made and screwed onto the window frame. The car is getting a tune-up and new brake pads installed. I will send a picture as soon as I can.

I just finished a 15 day, 3000 mile road trip (which included the Hot Rod Power Tour Long Haul) in my '61 and the top was down all day on 14 of those days. Speeds up to 90 mph (no hatin') on the interstates. Sure there was wind but that is what the experience is all about. Damn, that was a good road trip!!
