Starting problem?
Recently when I try and start my car it sometimes turns over very slowly and will not start the car. Other times no problem whatsover? Battery is fully charged and checks out fine on the load tester. Coul it be cables, starter soloenoid?? suggestions?

Slow crank
Mine recently started to do that. If I release the key and start over, it cranks normally. I know that mine is a solenoid problem, and I just need to find the time and energy to swap out the starter. I haven't rebuilt this one in about 6 years, and I know from prior experience that after that much time, the brushes will be worn down quite badly. I have 3 spares in my shop. The one in the car has a "rebuilt" solenoid on it. When a rebuilder "rebuilds" a GM solenoid, all they do is sand off the 2 terminals in the cap and flip the contact disk. Evidently, my disk has been flipped one too many times, and it hits a bad spot once in a while. Yours probably has the same problem.
