Default Stupid Driving!

I know everyone reading this will enjoy it no matter which sex you are.

This morning on the Interstate, I looked over to my left and there was a
Woman in a brand new Cadillac doing 65 mph with her face up next to her
Rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds !
And when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup..

As a man, I don't scare easily but she scared me so much; I dropped my electric shaver ,
which knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying
To straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked
my cell phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs,
splashed, and burned Big Jim and the Twins, ruined the phone, soaked my trousers,
and disconnected an important call.

Don't loose your head

As a cop on a bike was passing a little old lady in a Caddy he noticed that she was knitting. So he slowed down and shouted "Pull over".
She looked over and responded " No! Cardigan."

You all laugh, but I have seen far too many doing just this type of driving to be amused.

What annoys me also is that a cop will vehemently defend writing speeding tickets and running speed traps as "promoting safe driving" yet allows people to drive like this by the 100s of thousands daily.

In fact, some states now define "road rage" as making hand gestures, shouting, honking horns, and flashing headlights at people who are driving poorly.

So the idiot that drives down the road in the left lane holding everyone up is ok while the person who flashes their lights from behind is "road raging".

The moron that swerves between lanes because they are too intent on their cell phone conversation (OR WORSE, TEXTING!!!!) is ok, but if you honk and scream at them, you are road raging.

Instead of cracking jokes about it, everyone should be demanding their public officials (i.e., cops) start getting the idiots and morons off the roads.

Police today only come in time to clean up the mess. Enforcement of common sense laws and actions is non-existent. The words "To protect and Serve" ring hollow. Yes they serve...but who?
I speak from my experiences here in NC. I may take some heat on this BUT I drive about 500 miles a week on the interstates. The police here are only about speeding tickets, don't care about doing alot of paperwork.
Example: driving home (95miles) I am following a woman in a Volvo who is swerving and drifting off road at 70mph in the left lane. Off on the grass then over into the right lane. This goes on for about 30miles. At first look one would think she was drunk. My thought after getting next to her and looking and blowing my horn was she was an older woman and maybe she was having a perscription drug reaction.
I called 911 from my cell and gave the scenario. I was told that I had contacted a local police dept. and that I should call the State Police. I asked to be connected and they hung up on me! I then called directly to the state police barracks.....and was told they had no available officers to send...
I don't know if that lady made it safely. They just don't give a s#$t. When she crashes then they will show up. It is annoying to see your tax dollars wasted.
DISCLAIMER: I am in no way saying that all police do not care...I have many friends that are cops and they are being directed and are frustrated....Just my .02.
