Default Is anyone from here going to be on the NCRS road tour through Okla?

I can't make it up to Tulsa Sat evening for the activities there (my commander and chief has assigned duties for me to do). But, I'm thinking about getting up REAL early Sun am, driving up to Tulsa and driving back to Yukon or El Reno, OK with the tour.
I thought if anyone from here was going to be in the tour, I'd try to meet them Sun am.
My 56 should be easy to recognize.

I'm planning on following you Tom (and following only because I have not seen you drive that '56 at any lower speeds that 85 mph (and yes, that includes parking lots !).

Let us know what your route will be.

Ray,
I'll keep you advised.
IF, IF, IF I go, I will LIKELY be at the entrance of the Turner Turnpike in the 530-6am time frame.
Will that work for you?
My speed will be adjusted to arrive at the Double Tree hotel (61st & S Yale) PRIOR to the scheduled 8am departure of the tour.

Sounds good Tom, I'll be sure to put a new thermostat in the '66 and I will be there.

Anyone else want to join us or meet up with us ? The trip from Tulsa west should be on Route 66, always an interesting ride and a lot of towns along the way where someone can meet up with us.

The best info that I've been able to get as of now, is driver meeting at 745, departure 8am Sun, July 5.
I'm thinking it would be on the safe side to be at the Double Tree 730-745am.

A long string of Corvettes down old Route 66 should be a sight to see.

Anyone else planning on meeting up with Tom and I or planning on being on the cruise ? (67F this morning in Oklahoma City !)

Tom, My mistake, I did a quick read on your post and thought you were talking about the caravan to the NCM in Bowling Green. The caravan will be through your neck of the woods on Sept 1st. If your around stop by the Clarion and I'll buy you a beer.

Ray,
I'm talking about meeting up at a different place.
Your talking about that big lot next to I-35.
I'm going to be over on the side of the road at the
ENTRANCE
to the turnpike (where the old entrance gate used to be). There is a small parking lot there that you used to be able to park in, but it is now blocked off. I will be sitting right next to that little lot.
(I'll probalby be the only red 56 there at 6am Sun )

I know it well, I'll be there and I'll look for the red '56. Can you be a little more specific ?

Ray
