Default A Arm rivet tools

I need to go back with rivets on my 66 upper and lower arms. Does anyone know what tools to buy to set the rivets properly?. Thanks.

Default Rivets

The rivets used for ball joints are well beyond the hobbiest. Van Steel sells a bolt with a rivet head. If I remember correctly, they can install ball joints with a rivet if you send them your control arms. Jerry

Amen. WAY beyond the hobbiest.

I had Tony's Corvette Shop rivet 'em on both my 63 and 69. You need some real heavy duty equipment.

I just put mine in the other day with the zip tools and a high impact gun.

I thought they turned out pretty decent

However, if you are only restoring one car its probably not worth the cost of the tools.

You will need these from zip products

And you will need a high power impact hammer-not one of the weak ones you can buy at lowes or harbor freight.
