64 Vette is finally done;
Well spent most of the brutal winter in South Florida soda blasting the car getting her ready for paint.Well after I started,why stop at just the outside.I took out most of the interior and got the seats new leather,insulated the floor and put in new carpet. I couldn't be happier the way the paint turned out on the car. attached a few pictures and a short clip.

You must have gotten run over by the same 64 project creep truck that got me last year. I just finished my car about a month ago but it was well worth the effort. Congratulations, looks like your car came out great! Pilot Dan

Looks fantastic and sounds just the way it should. I like the novel approach of having the A/Ccompressor on the driver side. Any particular reason for doing it that way? Difficulty level?

Looks great Vic, my favorite interior color, especially when it is nice and fresh like yours. Now drive that thing to Arkansas and visit those long lost relatives, bring it by and dinner is on me.

Looks and sounds great. Congratulations on a job that appears VERY well done. Now go out and enjoy driving it. (and take Jeff up on that dinner offer)

Vic,
Nice job!! Did you end up using the BB battery access panel?? The car looks smokin with the hardtop on it, hope to have my HT finished up in a few weeks. Now go see what Jeff (SSS) has got in the fridge!!
Enjoy your fresh new ride!

Thanks for the compliments gentlemen.This forum has proved time and time again to be a great resource for a expensive but a well worth passion in American classic automobiles.
To answer a few questions.First I leave the hardtop on in the summer.To have the top down in 95+ degree heat in South Florida is not a pleasurable expierence.Call me a wimp,I like AC and being comfortable.The top is changed out in late September.
As far as the AC and why I moved it to the drivers side.When we were installing it I noticed that with the compressor,heater hoses,expansion tank,battery and the big block motor,it all looked to busy on one side.I moved the battery to the drivers side along with the compressor ( really no big or difficult task) and liked the end result.The biggest challenge that I have is getting the alignment of the drive belts correct.There is a method and a way to to that and I have not yet figured it out.
Thanks for the invite and dinner offer Jeff. After reading some of the posts on the Route 66 tour that Roy and some others talk about.Me and the wife are seriously thinking about that one next year.
Once again you folks are First Class !!
