Were you thinking it did, and are trying to find it, or are you just looking for some carpeting you can put into the trunk for other purposes?
If the latter, you may be able to buy bulk carpeting from Auto Custom Carpet, or Al Knoch, and then have a local trim shop cut it to the shame of the rubber trunk mat, and sew a vinyl edge around it.
Who knows, maybe Al Knock would even do that. They seem to do a fair amount of custom work, in original patterns.
Pep Boys for local retail, JC Whitney for mail order.
It is a trunk liner material, not exactly carpet, but soft. They come in ~4' by 6' rolls, about $15 or $20.
I had my trunk done with new production OEM trunk liner as you would find in a new car. Came out real nice. Covered all the fenderwells and supports, etc also.
Al Knoch will make a trunk carpet for you. I usually send him a paper template. You'll get a little better fit than the vinyl mat, and straighten out the forward edge, especially on the 58-60 cars. He'll make it out of any of the corvette carpet samples.
62's (and earlier) Corvettes came with a heavy rubber trunk mat. The mat matched the interior color of your car. Currently only red and blacks mats are being repro-ed for 61-62 trunks and they are pricey at around $300. You should also have a cardboard liner at the front of your trunk, across the bulkhead where the hinges are. These are repro-ed also and run about $120 for a molded one as original or $89 for a flat replacement one.
My less than original 62 has a carpeted floor, side panels and trunk lid liner. I had a local auto trim shop make it up. Based on my experience with having Knoch make up custom pieces (and even some original items) if you want to go with carpet again, it may be quicker to have someone local make one for you. You'll have a lot more control on how it comes out, compared to dealing long distance with Texas.

I hate to disagree, but I bought my trunk mat several years ago from Al Knoch at Carlisle and its "jewel blue"

To the best of my knowledge, the 61 blue is not currently available, though it had been in the past. There was a fawn mat available, but I needed one for a customer a few months back and couldn't get one. Right now, the only 61-62 correct mats available I know of are in red or black. Knoch has been advertising the other colors as coming, but I haven't seen them yet. 58-60 mats are available in blue, along with red, black and turquoise.
Oriondriver, your right, that carpet was a custom job. The front liner appears to be original, but covered in vinyl, which isn't correct.
