Default Corvette Cruise to Malibu

Our small band of enthusiasts made a fun run this morning from the SFV to Dukes at Malibu. It was a little overcast this morning, so the cars all ran cool. We drove by no less than three Sheriff's motor cops, and two CHP cruisers, all looking for speeders on the canyon roads to the beach. None of us got tagged, including Earl in his freshly bought 2007 Z06, in hotter than h**l chippie magnet red. We also had John in his light blue 68 small block shark, Rocco in his white 400 hp disc brake 62, Evan in his super cool Red/ Red 61, Greg in his freshly bought Black / Red 60, and me in my Green /Tan 365 hp 65.

I Like the SACC T-shirt. Next Saturday it's SoCal SACC Brunch Run to Paradise Cove. Sorry ... only C1's in front. Should be 35 C1's. I think I recognize one of the trouble makers in those pictures!

John, if you are talking about the navy blue shirt its a C2 shirt out of the Eklers catalog. And yes one of those guys is a member of the SCSAC who will be on the run next Sat.

We do this often and xpect to have 10+ cars next time.

yep, a real gaggle of misfits, driving some real sweet rides! They look angry, but that's only because someone was taking their picture.

hey, thanks for enjoying shots of our excursion.
yes, Earl was riding in good company with our string of classics. He is also a classic vette owner, with a top flight big block 66 red coupe, that had to stay home while he drove his new smoking hot Z06. He had a tough time running rear guard in our string of cars. He could hardly shift out of second, and any time he touched the gas, the car jumped to 90mph in the blink of an eye. Still, he had a great time, as all of us did. The old vettes are a kick to toss around the curves.
