I JUST INSTALLED THE HITCH FROM MY '69 ON MY '66 FOR A ROADTRIP.
WHEN I GET BACK, I'LL JUST REMOVE IT AND STORE IT UNTIL IT'S NEEDED AGAIN.
HOPE YOU ENJOY.

I USE A C3 SPARE TIRE CARRIER ON MY '66, AND HAD TO REMOVE IT FOR THIS INSTALL. AS I UNDERSTAND IT, THIS HITCH WILL WORK ON A C2 OR C3 WITH THE STOCK SPARE CARRIERS IN PLACE.
Thanks for an Interesting Post Bill. I always ran a Hitch on our 67 as we always had a Ski Boat to Drag around. Also, if you get Rear Ended it affords a little bit of Protection. As soon as I get the Hitch that was provided by a Forum Member, a new Chroming it'll be back on our car. Al W.
Years ago I made a hitch to fit a c2 frame so i could tow small trailers. It bolted to existing holes in the c2 frame and came down between the rear valence and the tub.
An 8 inch piece of the bolt on tongue was removeable, but you can (barely) see the hitch in this Rushmore pic

Those hitches are amazing... you don't come across those every day

Majic... you are right I didn't see your hitch, I was looking more at Mt. Rushmore
Forgive my out of order question but I was wondering!
Dave what kind of Orthopedic seats are they and where did you get them.
Seems I could kill 2 birds.............more comfortable and reduce turbulance from behind
Thanks
Jeff
The seats are from Recaro. I had them in Honda Accords before I put them in the Corvette 20 years ago, and the second last time I had them reupholstered, I padded up the headrests to accept a pair of Sony x2 speakers each. The drivers headrest also has 2 small alarm tone speakers, one for the turn signals (I switch it on at highway speeds), and one to warn me not to set of my alarm when it's armed. email me at magicv8@inbox.com for more info
