Default Front rotor run out

I'm installing wheel bearings, races, seals, balljoints & new rotors on the front my 66. I will not be riveting the rotors to the hubs. I have the right side back together & it has a runout of .009. I can shim it to get with in specs but I was wondering if a machine shop could machine them as a unit (lug bolted together) ?
Also should the bearings be in or out of the hub when machined ?

If the rotors are secure to the hubs by rivets or bolts then they should be able to kiss cut them and dial in the runout on a good brake lathe. I personally would not cut them and can shim them to under 003" lock them in and have some iron on the rotor. There is only 035 between new and NG so why give up any iron? I never turn rears.

Shimming is a real PITA, just takes patience. I found brass shim at a hobby store, and made some discs to fit over the studs. Remember to torque a couple lugs, then check w/dial indicator

Guys, thanks for your comments. I'm not to keen on cutting new rotors either. Thanks again.
