I'll turn 50 this October......., bought my '66 L79 convert in 1988. Before that I had a '75 DD for about 4 1/2 or 5 years (my first Corvette). Before the Corvettes I had two Camaros ('67 small block and '79 smog 305 sled), a '67 Firebird with a 283 Chevy motor (great everyday car) and a '72 Buick GS w/455cid. Also, since '93 I've had a '67 ChevyII Nova that I currently bracket race (mid-10s). In my old age my current DD is a Chevy Suburban and a Jeep Grand Cherokee (5.2 V8). That's it....., my lawn mower is a Craftsman from Sears.....................

I was 32 in this picture back in 2007. Same car as the picture above.

Relatively recent picture.

Do you still have that original "cool" vynal top ?? It's a sharp looking car. I like the picture with your mom...., I have a few photos over the years with my two sons sitting in my '66. They're 16 and 19 now

Yup, sure do. The black vinyl hardtop is sitting up in the rafters in my dad's basement. That's probably where it is going to stay for the foreseeable future too.
