Need Some Help!
I have a broken rivet on my convertible softtop frame, the main one that pivots the whole frame from where it bolts to the car. I have the rivet, and had a friend make a tool that I thought would flare out the rivet, however it didn't work. I know you can buy the correct tool, but wanted to try and save $50 plus shipping for just one rivet. Does anyone have the tool or a manufactured tool that I could use. I will gladly pay shipping, of course.

If it's the common 3/16 rivet, the rivet set is $7.95 which goes in a air chisel which cost $9.99 from harbor Freight
