Is anyone familiar with the ZZ430 engine from a few years back. I have a ZZ4 motor right now. Thinking about cloning it into a ZZ430. I know it takes "fast burn" heads and the LT4 "hot cam" w/ 1.6 rockers. But I noticed the GMPP 383/425 enigne with almost same specs minus displacement. Just thought the 383/425 should have 30-45 more HP with those specs, compared to the ZZ430. Is the GMPP advertised numbers massaged some? Or did I miss something? I have built many SB chevys but it's been a long time back. Just looking for someone with recent knowledge.
