Default Headers for D port angle plug

Who makes headers for D port angle plug heads? I would like to stay away from long tube style.

Thanks;

Tony

I tried them and they don't have any that will work with side pipes. I have called almost everyone out there and no one makes a D port header for side exhaust. There are Companies that will put a 1 3/4 flange on a 1 5/8 primary. So if you find a company that does please let us know.

Stahl will do the above for $1000 and it's uncoated.. That's close to $1500 once you have them coated plus the 100 or so it will cost to complete the pipe connection and another however much for the alternator bracket. For now I've figured that $2000 is a little much for me to put headers on my car...

Ok, thank you for the information. I forgot to indicate the application. This is for a C2 and and would like to keep the configuration of the original headers. I'll follow up on your information.

Thanks again;

If you're running undercar exhaust, these should work, since they're spec'd to work with Fast Burn heads, which are angle plug.

Default Sanderson

I bought a set from Sanderson based on recommendations from several forum members. I have not installed them yet but they look pretty close to the original configuration (short) and I am going with sidepipes. Good price too.

Yeah I found shorty headers available but I personally was looking for longer tube side exhaust headers.

I believe Hooker has headers for OEM style side pipe cars.

I am running Hedman Headers #68286 with my stock side pipes. I had to cut my side pipes and have a muffler shop correct the headers to pipes (about $50). I slotted the bolt holes to move the headers upward for my ZZ383 with Fast Burn heads (Dport).

I test fitted manifolds and headers and found the same thing. That is why I went with the Sandersons. (no slotting required so they say)
