Looking to get a new top for the 66. Here are 4 companies that all claim to offer the "best" quality:

Al Knoch
convertabletopguys
tops4less
ezsofttops

Prices are comperable for the kits

I want to make sure they have quality materials and workmanship but also I want it to fit.

Anyone have any experience with any of these guys or another recommendation?

Thanks for your opinions.

Go to Al Knoch,

The second place you mentioned buys them from someplace else, even though they say they make their own,and they do not fit as well, I ended up sending one from them back.

AK will make your top in anything you want, Stayfast, sailcloth, vinyl. His fit.

Al Knoch for any C2 interior - best fit and finish - they stand behind what the sell. I bought leather seat hides over 20 years ago and they still look great - top in 1988 and it still looks new

I have installed many tops on C2's and without a doubt Al Knox is the way to go. They fit perfect and are correct. The only other one on your list that I recognize is Electron tops. I did not like the way they attach to the car and the way they fit. JMHO

I second or third the motion on Al Knoch. Good fit.

I just bought one from Corvette America. Haven't installed it as yet but figuire if they have been selling them for probably more than 30+ years the fit should be good.
