Default Question?

How many people think this forum has members that just like to stir the pot and get others to argue? I've never seen so many people with such strong opinions. Do any of you really think you can win an argument over the internet?

Have you ever heard the song "I'm much cooler on-line"? It sure does reveal hidden personalities of some that would otherwise seem completely normal. We have a very high strung group here, very entertaining.

The stirring is ok, the opinions are ok, the BS gets a little thick along with personal accusations. But I agree.

Without a doubt, I'd have to go along with what's been said so far.

What would you like to do different?

I've been hanging out here on and off since 2001. The number of consistently obnoxious folks is not zero, but its a very small number. Right now I have only one person on my ignore list (two if you include both his old and new usernames) and that's not bad for a group as large as this one.

I find the biggest pain to be senior members who can't handle someone disagreeing with their point of view. Being on Corvette forum for a long time, doesn't mean your knowledge is above those who are new here. It just means they discovered the forum later or are new to the whole internet blogging concept.
I will end this by saying, I find almost all members here to be good natured and VERY helpfull! Especially the senior members. But there are always people who think they know it all. And can't stand being challenged. They live in their own hell. This should not be other members problem.

You want them pointed in a direction that appears they are blowing in the wind. Sweeping to the rear.
