Date stamp on engine pad

Date stamp on engine pad

I'm looking at a 65 vin# 9653 which equates to Feb.12, 1965 and the pad reads Fo08HT. It is a 327/350 but the date code looks odd or I'm not reading it right.Can anyone shed some light on this?

You arent reading it right. Is the VIN derivative correct?

Yes, it is correct.I'll check it again tomorrow.What do you think it should read?

Like any other date, month the day of month.

Example: F1013HH

F = Flint
10 = October
13 = Today

I agree. Based on the info you've supplied. There appears to be something missing. Keep us posted.

Possibly F0108HT or F0208HT ???
