Default Tachometer Bulb

Can anyone tell me how to change the bulb in my 1961 Corvette tachometer. Does it pull out -I can see the wires.

Thx

The bulb socket is pushed into the tach can. Wiggle the socket back and forth and it will come out. Then you can replace the bulb.

Thank you Greg - will give it a go - I guess I will need some narrow pincers to reach up to do it - much appreciated

Ease your hand up there and with two fingers go back and forth and it should come out. Do not go with pliers or screw driver. You don't want to make contact with any hot wires/ground on the back of any gauges. Will wake you up in a heartbeat!
