Instrument Services Inc. (Google them) can fix yours or you can get the quartz kit and do it yourself. They also advertise on E-Bay. The complete kit, which includes an instructional DVD is $75 including USPS Priority Shipping. I just ordered one for my 65. This is the first clock I wasn't able to repair. It was really screwed up so I'm going quartz and to he11 with the NCRS

I used Instrument Services to convert to quartz on my '64 Riviera and on the rear clock for my '59 Cadillac Series 75 Limousine. I didn't just have the conversion but had them both cosmetically restored. They came back to me working accurately and looked great, in the case of the stainless & silver-faced Cadillac clock, it looked like a piece of fine jewelry.
thanx for all the info..i'm pretty handy so i guess i'll give it a go..I'm gonna order the rebuild kit from instrument services.where were all you guys when i was havin probs with my neutral switch?..lol..thanx again

I used ISI on Fleabay, they sent the kit and instruction DVD to me in Australia for the 65, simple to fit, easy job great results.
The clock is attached to the dash by two pins that go through two holes, In the back are two clips that hold the clock in. Just remove the two side panels ( or actually I think it was easier for me to remove the glove box to get to them.). You squeeze the pins and pull them off then the clock will come out of the front of the dash. Obviously you disconnect the electric connection first with the battery disconnected.

Can you guys describe the process of removing the clock from the dash and your opinion of how hard of a job it is. Thanks Peter
Remove the pass. side console side panel. There are two clips that hold the clock. Push down on the clip and slide it backwards to release it. You can now pull the clock out from the front. Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the two lights. Be sure to use new light bulbs when you re-install.
