Take a look at the first car in this video. I believe he said it came out of Wisconsin.

The guy that owned the local Chevy dealers got an unrestored 54.Consedering its 55 years old its in very nice shape. One area that was odd is the tail light panel in the top of the quarter panel.Never knew this was a separate piece until I saw this car.

Omg!!!
I would love to know what number that car was. Also, was it a keeper being shown off or for sale? It had some front end damage previously (cut out for front emblem was missing and reveals for front bumperettes were missing too), but I bet it wasn't too severe. It still has the dual pot air filter, original wheelcovers, correct exhaust extensions, and it even had the original appearing fuel pump and big AC domed fuel filter! I wonder if the head/block were correct or not? Did anyone here actually see the car?????

I'm just amazed when these things keep turning up over 50 years after manufacture...

I was impressed with the condition of the top, which has to be a replacement. Must be doing a good job of protecting the interior. Speaks well of the owner(s) commitment to preserve the car in drivable and easily restorable condition.

THe owner said he was not the finder, but bought it from the guy that found the car. He said that he was going to drive it, as is.
He had a hard time getting it in the show because is was too stock, but finally the inspectors decided it was too neat to keep out, even if mostly stock.
I did not see the engine numbers, but the seats were in pretty good shape.
