What happened?
I have not been able to log on for the last few days. All of my other links would work, but I kept getting the message "Unable to open the page" when I tried CF. Did the site go down, or was there just too many people on line?

The way they describe the attack doesn't sound like a virus. It sounds more like a denial of service attack, which is no threat to anyone else. You can think of a DOS attack as so much internet traffic to a certain page that it just blocks out all or nearly all legitimate traffic.
