I saw a set of 67 aluminum wheels advertised locally and couldn't "afford not to buy them"........ unfortunately I've got a '66. Why can't I see something that's a deal and just walk away........
Who else has this disease........ and is there a cure

Seems to be a common ailment of most women I've known......

I think the medical term is "Corvette Fever" (with apologies to the magazine) ... not your fault, easy to catch, pretty much incurable and a hella'va lot of fun. Nice wheels by the way!
I checked with Dr. Fender, Dr. Denten Fender on your illness. He feels you've contracted this through prolonged exposure to beautiful lines, marvelous colors, and the need to look good sitting behind a steering wheel.

I was looking at a good price on a set on Craiglist near Buffalo this week.. $1350... Thought that was a good deal but I too don't need 67 wheels..
That's part of my 3 car garage. The pillow is for the old knees and sometimes for my butt and hips when working under the dash.
All those rims and tires will be used for the car though. BFG's all around for daily, BFG drag radials for strip, and Goodyear Racing Eagles all around on very light Enkei aluminum rims for open track.
I just won't tally up all the receipts I have for stuff that I thought I needed but didn't, and still have!

......... so I guess $700 is a good price.... like I said, I couldn't afford not to buy them. They'll still look good on my 66.... even if they are wrong.

I do it too. I buy Dymag wheels that were used in the Corvette Challenge series anytime I find a set for sale. I have two Challenge cars and four sets of wheels. Go figure....
