Default Headlight Alignment

Are these headlights not positioned properly? Is is something that can be fixed without body work?

You should be able to adjust them some. Loosen the three screws on each side of the bucket from the backside and see how much you can shift the buckets in order to line them up better. You may have to loosen the bracket that hold the motor also. Dennis

Additionally, it looks as if the driver's side door is closing too far. That can be adjusted by the "Y" stop with limit bolts that regulate opening and closing stop positions. The "Y" stop is located on the inboard side of the bucket.

I'd remove both motors before attempting to adjust the buckets in the openings by the three screws on the bucket sides. It'll make the job a lot easier. There are several ways to adjust the buckets, I'd do a search on the forum for previous threads as well, I think you'll get some good information. You may never get them "perfect" without body work, but you should be able to get them a lot closer than they appear to be now.
