Frank and I went Friday. Place was pretty well filled, but not entirely packed. There were a good 20 solid axles and even more mid years spread out throughout the whole area. Very few were stock. Cars for sale corral ran the entire length of the swap area, unreal; 3-6 cars deep that whole distance. Asking prices still seemed high considering the economy. We saw about 10 vendors selling C1 parts, mainly on west end of swap area. If you're in Florida, you need to try this show out. If not this one, Old Town in January for sure.
Side Note-Jan Old Town- SACC will have a tent set up signing up members for a Florida chapter. Great bunch of car people.
Can you tell us what part of Florida, since most of us I would guess are not familiar with all your states local names for these events.
Love visiting Florida and have thought many times of moving there. My favorite areas are Jacksonville/St Augustine, Sarasota, Naples, Sanibel Island, Key west. Pretty much tourist areas, but beautiful just the same.

I was there on Friday too. I checked out most of the cars but I never got the chance to look at the swap meet area. I'll also be heading back down to Kissimee in Jan.

After 6 hours of walking, my feet gave out about same time as Frank's back. We saw maybe 1/3 of show cars and for sale cars, and did a quick 2/3 of swap meet. Got within 100 yards of auction, but swap meet lured us in. One vendor from Gulf Port had bunch of C1 parts, told him he would do much better at Kissimmee.
Glad we went Friday, it got much colder on Saturday. No swimming for a while..

A few pics from Friday
We were there all day Friday and only saw maybe 30%-40% of the cars and less than 25% of the Swap Meet. The place was packed. Here are just a few pics to give folks an idea of the show.............
If I had stopped to take a pic of every Red C2 Vert at the show I'd still be up there taking pics. I'm thinking only '57 Chevy's outnumbered them.....
A typical street scene in the Swap Meet area........
A very nice subtle grill mod on this '67 (Round Tubing)..........
The local news reports 40000 to 50000 people each day and that is a new record. 5000 cars to view. est 1400 in the for sale corral with some success but my opinion is many would be buyers needed to trade their car to make a deal. I turned down 3 trade offers for a 65 mustang cv but had 0 cash offers. I was admiring a 66 vette coupe nom 427 and it sold for 45000 on friday am. Great weather and no stabil needed here. Dean
YES, The lady in the white jacket was the seller. I have a thread in the C2 for sale section with more info on the car. Did you buy it? I was too late. Dean
We got to the track about 9:30am Friday, had to park by the track apron in turn 3 due to so many cars. The swap meet and show was great once again, We froze Friday night at Bellaire Plaza. Another great weekend though. Planning on being there next year also.
