Sometimes I think the same thing, except then I'd have to pay for two racecars .

Default C2 Power Glide

I bought a 65 coupe for my wife this past summer because I wanted a corvette she could drive to our clubs Diva Driveouts. I got her a 300 h.p., p/g, p/s, p/b car because she never learned to drive a stick. With its automatic trans., K.O. wheels and W/W tires its simply a crusier and doesn't pretend to be anything else. At our recent Corvette show here in Prescott, AZ. (over 200 Corvettes) she recieved 2 FIRM offers to sell it, but since she has only owned it a short time, she politely declined. AND the color is Glen Green with a saddle interior for those of you who dislike green cars! When I need some driving excitement, I take out the 91 Corvette 6-speed convert. or the 99 corvette FRC>

Probably less buyers, but buyers nonetheless.

Vettebuyer5869, think it would have sold with the PG as easy if it didn't have that split in the rear window?

I had a PG in one of my 68 327 Camaro's back in the day. I used to like driving it around town never taking it out of 1st gear. It was alot of fun doing 20 to 60 mph blasts! One tough tranny! Sounded great with headers and 2 1/2" pipes.

At times I miss the 1967 but all things must pass. I got by the summer of 2009 with this car. So I went from the two-speed Powerglide to a very robust three-speed TH400. But I'm thinking of a four-speed 200R4 for 2010. I rather like the automatics.

The C1/C2 area seems pretty steady as I recognize many of the old names. The C3 area is much more fluid but I do not know why.

Like one off colors, flares and organ meats, a stong market exists, but that market is relatively small.
Which tells me that it isn't a strong market. Big, big discount for P/G cars in the C1/C2 area.

I'm also glad to see you posting again here Paul. I miss seeing you in the C2 section. I like the automatics as well, I think now and then about adding a late model Corvette to either replace or join one of mine. And if so, it'll be an automatic.

In my opinion, you had one of the best looking mid-years on the forum. And, I think you've continued in that tradition, you now have one of the best looking 75's that I've seen.

Good to hear from you!!

Thanks Ron. It's a 1974 but what the heck. Whatever the year I have always tried to do the best with my cars. I did the interior in 2008. But still love the C2s.

IPod stereo, shoulder belts, new seat covers, foams, seat hardware, rugs, kick panel Polks, Pioneers up top, etc. I was busy.
