Someone will chime in hear with some detailed info for you but here's a pic of the steering box from my '61 (VIN #2000). I'm pretty sure the '58 through '62 column/boxes were identical and the only difference between that series and the earlier versions is the overall length, with the later ones shorter by almost two inches. As for the date code, mine says '1 9 0' so does that mean it was cast in 1960, beats me.
