That's a 327/300hp 4-speed from '64 #103022. Should be a 3782870 block.

Do you guys know what F I 00 I R D means? I know RD means 327 but the rest I'm baffled by. Would F mean Flint?

"F" is Flint V-8, I00I is October 1st, and RD is the suffix; the "I" character was used instead of the "1" character starting in 1957.

Buy a Black Book. < $20.

Required reading for Corvette ownership.

A good % of the answers you get on here will be in there someplace.

In addition, the RD suffix indicates a 300HP manual trans engine.
