Would a F1213 { Dec.13} 62 block assembly date, work for a Jan,21 63 car.

I would believe it's Jan, 21 1963.

The OP stated it was the ASSEMBLY DATE, therefore Dec. 13th and yes that will be fine for a Jan. 23rd car.

block casting date is Nov.9, 62 block assembly date is Dec.13,62 and my car is a Jan.21 63 built date. Is this good to go or is it to far from assembly date to built date.

Like I stated above, it's fine and falls well within the 6 months allowed by the NCRS.

From what I've seen the usual lag between engine assembly date and car build is less than the five weeks on this engine. But I doubt it would raise any real questions.
