Default Differences between 63 and 64 steering columns

Hello all,

I'm in need of a '64 steering column and there is a '63 available at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-restored.html.

Any idea of what the difference are between a 63 column and a 64?

Thanks,

-- Joe

I know that the mast jacket is different- specific to 63 only- seems like I remember the exposed wire cable going to the turn signal servo on the jacket, or something. the 64 column is also a different diameter - (larger) as the very very late 63's had to use the 64 instrument clusters, and had a spacer to take up the room between the 63 column and the opening.

Turn signal switch and wiring connector are different also.

You need a '64-'66 column.

Default Might have one

It's at a friends house in great shape even a new turn cancelling switch and bearing. You want? Let me call him and He's better still have it. dan. I paid 500 bucks for a fully restored one. this would be less of course. I only need one right?

Put a Flaming River tilt column in it and enjoy your car.
