How do you fix a broken pin on the firewall connector? The harness is in great shape but a few pin connectors need to be replaced. Is there a kit ? or do you have to replace the entire harness (god forbid !!) !
You didn't say what car you are working but SOMEtimes - if you can get to the back of the connector and insert a really small jeweler's screwdriver in the pin hole from the back there is a little metal tab that acts to lock the pin into the connector. If you can push that down and pull the broken pin out you can replace the pin. Finding the replacement pin is usually the toughest part.
In a few cases I have just soldered a "blob" of solder onto a broken pin to make a better connection. My '61 ignition switch has been running for months with this type of repair...

holy cows, you have the classic burnt connector main wire going through the firewall connector. there is no kit. a lot of C2 owners just shove a 12 gauge wire through that port and connect it to the fuse box. as for me, i.m building a 64 restomod. i'm doing all my own wiring. i just removed all those clips from the firewall plug. now bigger wires are being soldered into the clips, if the clips are clean and bent right you will have no problem.
If the car is stock, the kit (above) will probably fix it.
If you have added electrical goodies to the car, you may want to consider something similar to the 8ga feed wire (from the starter solenoid) with a 50amp circuit breaker that I installed in my 66.
