Just to add a little more "gasoline on the fire" to the variation in font size between the 2 H's., I purchased this block back in '07 and discovered it came out of a '65 Vette with (according to the stamp pad) the L76 designation on her.
I couldn't believe this motor I bought in Ohio was within 21 days (after) my car build. How unusual is that?
Needless to say, I decked the block cause my goal was to build a "mule" motor. Anyhoo, there is a definite difference in the font of the H's on this now mule motor too.
