vin number
i have heard that the vin is stamped in the bird cage i am wandering were at on the cage i have looked at what is left of mine and can not find it on it. can someone tell me were to look.

It's not on the Gage that I am aware of. Only on the crossbar under the glove box. It is however stamped in two locations on the frame. One on the kickup above the rear shock mount on the drivers side (on a 63) and along the frame rail on the drivers side.
