Just picked up a 1963 S/W. The original colors were Sebring Silver with Red interior. Just wondering if this was a common combination or somewhat rare. It is a 340HP with a 4-speed. Has anyone been able to do any extrapolations?
Thanks,

I don't know how rare that combo was but it was one of my favorites! Someone will chime in with the numbers. I know they offered Black, Dark Blue, Red. and Saddle. I would think that Black and Red were the most popular.

I see one of these at a local monthly cruise in here in Florida occasionally. I saw another (different SWC) at the NCRS Regionals in Kissimmee, FL last year. I think it was a pretty popular color combo.
Sebring Silver with the dark blue interior is the rare color combo, yes there are some out there, I had one but not near as many as the red or Blk interiors with Sebring Silver.

A very good friend of mine did a full body off on a Sebring Silver, red interior, 340hp, 4 speed, SWC in 1980. It is a beautiful combination. We spent 3 years trailering that thing to shows. He finally got tired of showing it and decided he wanted something he could feel comfortable driving, that and he was in the process of starting a business and could use the cash, so he sold it. The car went to someone just outside of Phillie, about 30 miles from us, but we never saw it again. A few years later he tried to track it down, but never had any luck. He always felt it was pretty rare combination, though in the process of looking for his old car, we found quite a few Sebring & red 63's. I don't have any numbers, but red was clearly a popular interior choice with the Sebring silver exterior. There was a Sebring silver convertible that would show up at shows around here from time to time, that had the saddle interior. That was a rare and interesting combination.
