Hey Count, good to see some pics of your project. Looks like you are moving quickly in the right direction..... I sent you a PM on the door glass.
Ron.....
Those pads are the best!!! I use them for kneeing down, lying down, protective covers...umm I know there was one more use for them..Yes and the little guy gets them when I'm done...
I even used his plato today to find some interfering bonding strip near the cowl
Got it pretty well fitted today, going to get down to the side louvers and top surround fit on saturday....
Is that all your using to hold panels in place while bonding?
lol!!! Well that's all I wanted to use but my dad forced me to use 3 screws; 2 up top and 1 at the bottom. The 2" tape is perfect for keeping things flush and I can gurantee it would work without the screws, ain't that right "Dub"!! It was funny becasue my dad was freaking out when I was putting the tape on, but at the end he realized it really did help.
Darwin, blood, sweat and some tears!!! First time I tried bonding the vertical bonding strip (for the rear qtr) I put too much hardener and it cooked off before I could install it, lets just say cleaning up was not that much fun! It was a great lesson learned that saved my rear qrts though!!
