Default Battery access panel help

Does anyone have a picture of how the small riveted nuts go on the access panel on a 66 big block with a/c?.I can't tell if they go in the front or back side of the panel. Thanks for any help.

I didn't use rivits to repair mine. I used small flat head screws (6's or 4's ?). I got everything at ACE hardware.

The rivnuts are riveted to the battery access panel on the wheelwell side of the panel (the side facing the wheels). The attaching scews are installed from inside the engine compartment and go through the inner fender skirt, access panel , and secrew into the rivnuts. The bottom two bolts are installed from inside the wheelwell side.

Thanks. I think I understand what you are telling me. So put the rivet nuts through the dirty side (wheelwell side) of the access panel and just rivet them in. Makes sense but it seems like they would bottom out before they would tighten that way. My kingdom for a picture.
