install earplugs! turn the radio up! get sidepipes!
He has sidepipes. And they aren't quiet.
Tom: You gotta cinch those bolts up. If you want I can come up and sit my fat *** on the top while you bolt it down in the back. Bet it doesn't rattle then.

I've already tightened the rear bolts up so much the deck lid doesn't line up with the body anymore. If I do anymore I'm afraid the rear camber will change.
Thanks
WD40 the seal against the body/paint as well?
Yes, but paying attention to my caveat on potential paint damage. Probably would make things a bit better as we know what the non lubricated rubber already does to the paint. Also with WD 40 as it is a lubricant and dust magnet that goes with this, you gotta keep it clean.
Hey Jeff.
Do you still have yours on?
If it wasn't so friggin cold I would take it off.
Yup, still on there. I found that mine made the rear deck lid latches rattle and squeak, I lubed them with white litho and tadaa..no more noise, well.....at least not from the latches. You may also want to check the clearances on the alignment wedges, you can tighten down on the gap by added shims. In the end, I don’t think you can get all of the noise out....it's much like trying to have a watertight C2
You should take Rich up on his offer....I used his fat *** to hold down my top while I tightened the bolts
Buying a coupe would solve the problem and I really like the look of a coupe but the granddaughters love riding with the top down I guess I'm have to deal with the noise.

"...lubed them..." ? The rear window latches? The weatherstrip? The removable top? Or all the above?
Thanks.
