Curious as to what he is asking. I have an engine built to 365 specs. It is a 2870 block from a 64 hi performance Chevelle. I decide to sell it with 500 miles since I was lucky enough to find the correct engine for my car.
The HM designation would make that engine somewhat rare for 65 applications. The HM means that the 365HP engine was accompanied by both transistorized ignition and air conditioning. Only 90 of the 5,011 365HP 327s had this combo.
"hi . i bought the engine from a fellow in turner valley he has passed away
since then . he told me that the motor came out of his brothers 65 corvette
in van ,he said the motor was running fine when they pulled it . there is no
ignition, no valve covers . no starter . no carburator / i have a edelbroke
intake that goes with it . i have some carburators take ur pick they will
need to be rebuilt .no air cleaner . hjere is a pic of the engine the only
one i can take as u see it is in a tight spot . thats all i know about it .
it has sat for a yr now but been inside all the time ."
I'll think I'll pass.......... if anyone is interested, PM me for the contact info.
While we're at it does anyone know what F0602EE, casting date F15, #3782870 is? Also head casting is 3782461. I know it's a 327, and think it was built June 1965. This engine is in my 65 coupe.

The seller may be very truthful. This engine may well have been stuffed in a corvette engine compartment for a brief time. This makes it a " Corvette " engine, one notch above the other 90% advertised in this situation.
I contacted a seller with a genuine 69 Z-28 302 engine a short time ago. With the numbers provided it turned out to be a 350. His comment..... " well it came out of a 69 Camaro " probably after the salvage yard removed it from a truck.
One of these days I'm going to see a genuine Corvette starter for sale. DNA for chevrolet parts is next.
