Since this thread is already hoplessly hijacked, here's the late C3 seats I put in the '64. Planned for them to be an interim replacement of the exhausted stock seats until I found something I wanted for the long haul. That was maybe 15 years ago and these aren't leaving the car.
Sorry about the lousy pic, it's the only one handy...........

The tracks don't align exactly with the existing holes in the C2 floorpan. They either require a couple of new holes or a little bracket fabrication. Nothing very difficult.

What should driver quality seats sell for? Can anyone suggest a range?
Thanks!

Just to get back on track a decent (no rips, no cracking, no stains, no significantly worn areas), usable pair of seats from your 67 (with headrests and tracks, ready to bolt in) would sell between $750.00 and $900.00 around here. REALLY nice pair, looking as almost new, would go between $1,000.00 and $1,200.00.

Is there another C2 parts forum with cheap seats? I see some ripped 66seats for $800 and a set of 67 with nice covers for $1200. Where are the almost new 67's with headrests and slides for $1000 bucks?

There is Carlisle, where I have seen the seats I referred to, there are local Corvette repair shops that don't think every part they have is a retirement in itself and there are private sales by persons who may ask more than those prices but realize the can't eat the items and are willing to negotiate.

Thanks for the info and the entertaining thread guys.... I used to be into keeping my car original and finding the right dated stuff... But once I Tune Ported the car, it's no holds barred now.
I'm not keeping the car original for the next guy... if he doesn't like my mods, he's not the right buyer for the car. I don't know if I hurt the value of the car or not, but it sure runs better and is more comfortable. I stated earlier, I have all the pieces to go back to stock, but I cant imagine why anyone would.
Its a base 67 'numbers matching' 300 horse coupe. No big deal. I'm gonna drive the $hit out of it and die happy. The next guy can decide what he wants to do with it...
I won't care
Thanks guys. I'll prolly keep the stuff just cuz I'm a certified pack rat.
And the original board seats that could have been in an M38 A-1 didn't feel very good in the 63 either. These are much more comfortable. Six hour ride to Carlise; got out and felt great.

nice job on the interior, i agree with you but you have the sport seats that are much less restrictive than the first C4 seats that came out.... looking good!...
