The car arrived this morning.. Temp was about 18 degrees. Fired right up! The car is very nice. Rust free frame and the birdcage is solid as a rock by the kick panels. Very happy with the car. Now I just have to wait another two months to drive it!.... Thanks for the help with my questions!
These cars actually do well in the cold...its one of the advantages of having those big mills...they warm the cockpit up nicely. Unless of course the highway dept is salting the roads...

Nice corvette and it will look great in your garage, well they all do. Your only problem is that winter now will pass so ever slowly. This is my first winter storage
Your new ride looks great! I drive mine in the winter when it drys up. Then I bring it home and turn on the heat in the garage and wash her down, top and bottom, I do the same with my C-6. I hate to always wait for spring, besides, cars need exercise to.
Thanks for the kind words! I will post some more photos tomorrow. I did drive it around the block. The 327's move out pretty good.. I was pleasantly surprised.
