new tranny doesnt work
i bought a GM high performance crate engine
i bought a brand new TCI TH350 from Summit racing
i bought a brand new TCI torque converter 400 stall speed
my installer who is an ace mechanic built race cars for 40 years cannot get the transmission to work
he called TCI tech line they told him he put it in wrong needed to hear 3 clicks when the torque converter is connected to tranny spline
didnt work
tranny has been in and out 7 times
put spacers on torque converter no go
sent to local tranny shop replaced front pump
no go
replace valve body no go
bought new B&M torque converter no go
now tranny guy (local tranny repair shop one of the best) is measuring shaft, torque clearance etc etc
my guys cannot get the tranny to work
TCI is no help and Summit Racing says need to talk to TCI .....Summit doesn't handle the warranty
i'm ready to chuck the tranny and buy an old 4 speed rock crusher
any ideas??

Below is link for correct converter installation. Also note pad to bell housing measurement, along with checking pad to flex plate distance and when shimming is needed to make sure pump is engaged correctly.

My guess is LS site will help you with problem even if you don't have LS engine too. I would not mention changing pump out. There is one TCI rep that visits board and you may have voided warranty by changing pump.
