Hello -

I need some help!!

There are some stud plates that mount on the firewall that the female hood brackets bolt to. I believe the hood release bracket also connects to them.

My problem is...someone filled in these holes and I have no idea how these plates mount on the firewall.

I believe I have the correct brackets, just need to find how they mount. One of the brackets I have has 3 studs on it, and the other has 2. T

If someone is familar with these brackets, I can send you pictures of what I have and maybe you can help me out.

Just go to the top on left side of screen just under the welcome and click on private messages and it will open your screen high light the message and thats it. my cell is 217 306-2468 about the 58

If you are still need help I am in Hayward and could make a cardboard template. My car is a 59, I want to use the 60-62 hood latches and now have to make a change after all the the body and paintwork is finished!

Thanks!!! That is exactly what I needed to see, but fortunately for me, I got the hood release brackets and I was able to see how they hooked up. But these are great pictures.
