Default L88 Heads?

Hello my name is Vic and I have a set of 1967 L88 Corvette heads. They are in perfect original condition and are completely assembled. The casting number is 3904392. I am looking to sell these heads and was wondering what the value might be. A friend that is really into Corvettes and told me it would be best if I posted a question here. Any help or information will be appreciated. Vic

I believe a set sold on ebay for 2000.00. One was a 68 and the other was a 69.

Vic -

Those 3904392 heads are quite rare, and quite valuable to the right purchaser; only 20 L-88's and 16 L-89's were built in 1967, so from a purely restoration perspective, there aren't many candidates around, unless someone's creating one. From a purely performance perspective, there are much better GM heads available over-the-counter that were used in later years. These 392 heads were also available over-the-counter, but were discontinued in 1969, so they only had a short run as service parts. I've seen these 392 heads go for $2,000 - $3.500 recently.
