With apologies to the purists, here are the headlights finished up over the weekend. Hard to tell that the lexan covers are on but they really are. Glad the job is finished.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. There are some things I would do differently if I had to do it again but overall I am pleased with the outcome.
The lights are fully adjustable and the lexan covers are fairly easy to change(but a pain to make). Here is a shot of the backside of the light assembly for those interested in how it was done:
Very nicely done. Extremely well designed. I see tabs for a front grill… what do you have planned?
Those tabs fit the stock grill. I powdercoated the grill black and polished the front edge. It may be the last thing I put back on the car before it rolls down the road for the first time.
Wait a second...are you telling me this thing is gonna be modified? And we are going to be in the same class??? Is it to late to call Jim and get my money back?

Can't wait till we "show" together
To bad about Main Street being 86'd. Hey, I got an idea, YOU could be their new sponsor...then we both could win (I'd even settle for second place).
