Have a set of seat Frames and Springs in the attic of the garage for a corvette with a trunk. Could not say C1.
Trying to figure out what year they are from or fit. I got them with a 59 corvette I bought in 1974 and still own. But at the time of restoring 20 years ago they would not line up with the holes in the floor. Could someone tell me what I need to look for to figure out what years they might fit.

Are they one piece, or two. 61-62 seats are made in two pieces, with the bottom and backrest bolted together. Earlier seats are one piece, with the bottom and backrest made as a single unit.

Thank You for the information. I will look and see. I will get them out of the attic this weekend and look and have my son post some pictures if I can not figure it it out. Moving and can not take everything with me.
They may just have the original cardboard assembly tag still on them somewhere (usually tie-wrapped to a spring) and that will have the date on it. I don't have a picture handy but they are about 1/2" wide and 2" long approx.
If they are in any kind of shape at all (and indeed C1 seat frames) they are worth some serious money.
Just had to take the flashlight and go look. They are a 2 pieces bolted together. so 61 or 62. Did not find any dates on the back but didnot take the seat covers off either. Missing one set of tracks. So now have another thing to look for. Thanks to the Corvette Forum for the input.

I'm redoing my interior and have the opportunity to purchase a complete set of seats (newly recovered) or to have my old ones media blasted, recovered, etc. Wondering if I purchase the newly covered ones what I might be able to sell my existing seats for. The covers are shot but the "frames" (not sure what to call them because I'm just speaking about the piece you can pull out with the vinyl on it) should be fine. Basically I can get the recovered ones for about the same price as redoing mine and would have these to sell. Wondering if I'd get enough from them to make it worthwhile. I have a 58 and these are the original seats.
