c2 Induction upgrade
I'm wanting to upgrade the stock carb on my 64 to something else, what are some suggestions? I'm guessing clearance might be a problem. Engine is stock 300HP with a 4 speed. I've put Inglese on some other vehicles before and really like them, ie, side draft webers. Looking for better throttle response and better acceleration than my moldy oldy. Some of the new aftermarket EFI's an option?

Without extensive modifications. The set up you mention would be purely show and not very streetable. ie: A pain at the pump and probably reduced performance and quite expensive.
Unless you are willing to do some other mods, just rebuild your stock carb.
