Just recieved some new front bumpers, brackets, and bolts for my 66.Mounted the bottom bracket and the main bracket through the grill. The side bracket however looks like it has to go through the fiberglass to mount to the bumper but there isn't a hole.Any help would be apprieciated

Do the brackets that you are talking about line up with the lower portion of the front fenders? On my 63 there are holes in the fender. I would send you photos but I am at work. Bob

Yes there is a hole on the parking light panel, it sound like the previous owner covered the hole up.

The side bracket needs to align with the front portion of the inner fender and then has a 90 deg bend to rest againt the inside of the parking panel aligned to a hole. The bracket may need a bit of heating and bending to get the right angle to align the holes.

If I understand what you're saying, there should be a hole in the fiberglass behind and above the parking light for a bolt to go through the fender panel and into the threaded hole in the bumper bracket. It was popular to remove the bumpers and fill those holes. Has your car had bumpers on it since you've owned it?

Default front bumpers

There wasn't any bumpers when I bought the car. There isn't any holes in the fender thats why I couldn't mount the bracket.Could anybody measure the hole and tell me the size.If I had to guess I'd say it's 1/2 inch

Try and get a look at it from the other side. My car had previously had the hood and rear badges removed and the holes were filled with bondo...you could see it plain as day.
