installed a bb hood on my '65 looking for a way to get it down on the passenger side nose, besides cutting the hinge is there any other way to drop the corner, my stock small block hood fits perfectly so i don't think it's the body that has the problem...
Where the body side of the hood hinge attaches to the inner fender, install shims at the rearmost attachment, between the hinge and the inner fender; that will tip the pivot point of the hinge downward, lowering the front edge of the hood.

did this work for you. I'm having some issues with the front of my hood not fitting.
it did drop it about 1/8 th inch with 3 shims which i cut in half , need another 1/8th so i'll cut and weld the hinges, don't know if i should add more shims than that
